How to handle the unexpected?

You ride it like a rogue wave - whopping and hollering all the way.

Life. It doesn’t go exactly the way you have planned; a  job falls through, your spouse wants a divorce and you can’t find your glasses.  After all how can you see the future if you can’t see it at all?

When an unexpected change happens it is only natural to panic. Then you must plan.Writing in your journal helps you to ease out of the panic. Listing the problems and brainstorming the solutions will give you back some sense of control over the situation.

Don’t be afraid to let people know what happened- they may have creative ideas for you. When under stress, remember to eat well, and keep moving.
